Each project--whether a documentary, radio spot, or video for the web--has different goals, audiences and workflows. We tailor our creative contribution accordingly, be it strategy and concept development, shooting, post-production, or a combination of all of these.
Some examples:
Healthy Eating, Active Communities, a short documentary produced with Public Media Center for The California Endowment, presents innovative approaches to obesity prevention that focus on the places where California children live, learn and play. Director Elizabeth Garsonnin traveled throughout California to produce these short programs that were distributed in both Spanish and English versions.
Wildlife-Friendly Farming, a short documentary produced for The Nature Conservancy, highlights a unique partnership between farmers and wildlife managers to conserve habitat in the Sacramento River Delta.
Avalanche: Surviving Tragedy, a National Geographic Explorer Special conceived and filmed by the Adventure Pictures production team, chronicles the intertwined lives of survivors, rescuers, victims, and their families during one deadly avalanche season in the Canadian Rockies.
When Bahati Productions decided to produce a “behind the scenes” documentary about the amazing life of shamanic healer and ethnobotanist Rosita Arvigo, they turned to Adventure Pictures for location shooting in the tropical rainforest of Belize.
